QuickMove® — Terms of Service
These Terms of Service apply to all bookings with QuickMove®. By confirming a booking, you agree to the conditions outlined below.
Minimum Booking Time & Billing
- 2-Hour Minimum: Applies to all 2-man services.
- 4-Hour Minimum: Applies to all 3-man team bookings.
- Billing After Minimum: Time is billed in 30-minute increments with an automatic discount applied to all time beyond the minimum charge.
- GST Included: All rates and charges are GST inclusive.
How Our Pricing Works
- No Hidden Fees: No callout fees and GST included.
- Minimum Charge Payment: The minimum must be paid by 5:00pm the day prior.
- Flexible Service Types: Available for labour-only jobs, deliveries, home moves and relocations.
- Truck Sizes: 1T vans, 2–3T, 4–6T and 8–10T trucks available, with optional 3rd mover.
Free Travel & Fuel Zone: QuickMove® offers a completely free travel and fuel zone covering most of the Sydney Metro area. Your time starts and stops at your door — with no fuel levies, no travel charges, and no return-to-base fees.
How & When You Pay
- The minimum charge must be paid by 5pm the day prior.
- Additional time is payable on completion.
- We accept Visa, MasterCard, Diners Club, Amex.
- Cash is not accepted.
Protective Wrapping Options
We provide soft padded blankets and mattress shrink wrapping free of charge.
If you require additional heavy-duty shrink wrap for lounges, TVs, or delicate items, it is available at $10 per item.
Toll Costs (If We Use Toll Roads)
A flat $20 per tollgate entry applies where toll roads are required.
Changing or Rescheduling Your Booking
Free rescheduling is available when requested at least 24 hours in advance.
Less than 24 hours or same-day changes may require a new booking.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made by 5:00pm the day prior. Fully Refundable!
Insurance Coverage Explained
- Goods in Transit: up to $100,000
- Public Liability: up to $20,000,000
Insurance covers damage during transit only. Claims must be lodged within 24 hours.
Extra Charges for Stairs, Heavy Lifting or Difficult Access
$50 per person Fatigue Allowance may apply for stairs, steep driveways, long carries or difficult access.
Areas Outside Our Free Zone (Incur Extra Travel Expenses)
These suburbs fall outside the free Sydney Metro zone and incur return travel time + a 10% fuel levy.

All services start and end in Sydney.
Example: Avalon → Sydney = arrival time billed. Sydney → Avalon = return time billed.

10% fuel levy + travel time billed in 30-minute increments.

Travel Charge Explanation:
All outer cities incur a 10% fuel levy + travel time billed via Google Maps.

Central Coast, Lake Macquarie, Wyong, Newcastle, Maitland, Wollongong, Shellharbour, Kiama, Blue Mountains, Lithgow, Wollondilly Shire, Picton, Tahmoor, Thirlmere, Appin.
Items We Cannot Move or Carry
For safety, legal, and insurance reasons, the following items cannot be carried or transported by QuickMove staff:
- Flammable, explosive or combustible materials
- Hazardous chemicals, acids, solvents or toxic substances
- Fuel, petrol, diesel or oil containers (full or partially full)
- Gas bottles or cylinders (full or empty)
- Greasy or oil-soaked mechanical / car parts
- Hazardous batteries
- Aerosols or pressurised containers in bulk
- Perishable or leaking items
- Contaminated, infested or biohazard items
- Illegal items
Important Information You Should Know
QuickMove cannot guarantee clearance for tight access points.
No insurance is provided for second-hand appliances or furniture with prior wear.
We cannot guarantee all items will fit in one load — extra trips may be required.
Customers are not permitted to travel in the truck.
No electrical work: We do not disconnect/reconnect appliances or wiring.
No plumbing work: We do not disconnect/reconnect washing machines, dishwashers or taps.
No wall mounting: We do not mount or unmount TV brackets, shelves, curtain rods or any fixtures.
