QuickMove® Terms of Service
Please read these Terms of Service carefully. By using our services, you agree to be bound by the following terms:
📍 Sydney-Based Operations
QuickMove® is a Sydney-based removalist company, and our services are strictly limited to moves to and from Sydney. We do not offer local-only moving services outside of the Sydney region.
If at any time a relocation involves a pickup or delivery address outside of Sydney, all return travel time, tolls, and fuel costs will be added to the final total. These additional costs are calculated based on the distance and location and will be discussed prior to the move where possible.
If you are unsure whether your move qualifies as outside Sydney, we recommend calling us before booking. Our support team is available 7 days a week, from 7am to 7pm.
💳 Moving Rates & Minimum Charges
- ½ Hour Callout Fee: A half-hour callout applies to all bookings and is payable at the time of confirmation.
- 2-Hour Minimum Hire Time: All moves are subject to a minimum 2-hour hire period.
- Billing: Additional time is billed in 30-minute increments after the initial 2-hour minimum.
💰 Payment Terms
- We accept VISA, MasterCard, Diners, AMEX & PAYID
- Cash payments are not accepted.
- Payment is due on the day, during the move, and in the presence of the removalists team.
- We do not offer invoicing or post-move billing.
📆 Rescheduling Policy
We understand that plans can change. That’s why QuickMove® offers free rescheduling to any other available date — even weekends. We operate 7 days a week and never charge extra for weekend bookings. We just ask that any change requests be made in writing by 5pm the day prior to your scheduled move.
❌ Refunds & Cancellations
If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us by 5pm the day before your move. A full refund will be issued — we do not take your money for nothing. Alternatively, you are welcome to reschedule your move to a later date free of charge, subject to availability.
🔐 Insurance Terms
- Goods In Transit Insurance: Up to $100,000
- Public & Product Liability Insurance: Up to $20,000,000
Important: Our insurance only covers damage caused during transit. Claims must be lodged within 24 hours of your move. We recommend that customers consider arranging additional coverage through a third-party insurance provider for high-value items or non-transit related risks.
🧱 Fatigue Management
Our removalists work hard and must take short breaks periodically. If the team encounters excessive physical strain — such as long stair climbs, steep driveways, or moving extremely heavy items — a $50 per person surcharge may be added to the invoice. This one-off fee is to cover the added labour and safety demands in such conditions.
